Volunteers

The Heart

Center for Child Protection volunteers are the heart of this organization. With their generous donations of time, they change the lives of abused children each year.

13,553 volunteer hours were recorded in 2010.

You can change lives. Volunteers can work directly with children and families or help out with fundraising and awareness activities throughout the year.

Jamie and Justin

Jamie Putnam, 3 years as a Center Volunteer

Jamie has been volunteering at the Center since November 2008, always brightening the days of those around her with her willingness to help.  Her passion for voluntering  can be seen throughout the whole Putnam family, as both her children and mother have volunteered at the Center as well.  Justin, her son (pictured), is currently an intern at the Center.

“Having the opportunity to involve my family in giving back to the community and learning that they can make a difference has been so great.  We all feel so lucky to have this chance to interact and laugh with some really special kids.  Just hearing them say "thank you" after playing a game can really mean so much!  Being a part of a wonderful, caring team of people that are instrumental in creating a positive environment for the children has been such a wonderful experience.”
