NFL Alumni Golf Classic & Caring for Kids Banquet
Join KB Home, the Austin NFL Alumni and Lexus Champions for Charity for a spectacular day of golf, benefiting the Center for Child Protection on Friday, June 20, at The Hills Country Club. The tournament will feature four-person teams, each captained by a former NFL Player. Teams will compete on the Signature Course in a scramble format with adjusted handicapping, followed by an alterate shot, sudden death playoff, to win a trip to the 2009 NFL Alumni Super Bowl of Golf.
The Caring for Kids Banquet, sponsored by Lexus of Austin, will kick off the tournament in exiting fashion on Thursday, June 19. Held at the Texas Disposal Systems Exotic Game Ranch and Pavilion, the banquet provides guests and opportunity to rub shoulders with NFL Alumni legends and participate in both silent and live auctions. The Austin Chapter of the NFL Alumni will also honor Roosevelt Leaks as their "Man of Year." To close out the evenings festivities, golfers will "draft" their NFL Alumni team captains for the tournament.
