Dancing with the Stars Austin presented by Lexus of Austin features Austin celebrities paired with professional dancers for a ballroom dance performance and a unique evening of entertainment. The 2010 event included a live auction, a drawing for a luxury Lexus vehicle, and live music by the Spazmatics.The event, coupled with the Center's luxury car raffle, grossed more than $900,000.  Read more about the 2010 event >>

Time Warner Cable will have all of the dancers' videos available on Central TX On Demand channel 1400 until January 31. The dancer with the most views will  be crowned the "Fan Favorite" and for each view TWC will donate $1 up to $5,000 to the Center. Video of past performances are available through the Center for Child Protection's YouTube page.

Audience votes were compiled and celebrity dancer Charmaine McGill and her professional dance partner Curtis Prevost were the winners of the coveted mirror ball trophy. They performed a sultry tango with colorful costumes. The first runner-up was Dr. John Hogg with his professional dance partner, Klair Van Slyke and the second runner-up was Michael Klein with professional dancer Susan Kirklin.
