Join us on Sunday, March 28th, from 2pm-5pm for the Center for Child Protection’s First Annual Family Day Celebration. Bring your entire family for an afternoon of food, fun, and family entertainment.
Grab your lawn chairs and picnic blankets so that you can sit on our beautiful outdoor lawn and enjoy a very special performance from Texas singer-songwriter Sara Hickman. Also performing will be youth musicians The Peterson Brothers. Children’s author Emma Virján will be doing a reading of her highly acclaimed book Nacho the Party Puppy with a special appearance by Nacho too! Older children will enjoy a rollicking performance by Austin's own Flying Theatre Machine children's improv group.
Feast on tasty treats generously donated by local businesses. Children will enjoy face painting, caricature artists, balloon twisters, a moonwalk, miniature ponies, train rides and more! Admission, parking, food, and entertainment are free of charge.
Family Day is a celebration of the wonderful children in our lives and of the many people that support the Center for Child Protection. Please plan on spending the afternoon with us!
RSVPs are appreciated so that we can have an accurate headcount for food and beverage. RSVP by March 25th to ejansen@centerforchildprotection.org or call 512-472-1164.
