2012 Dancing with the Stars Austin

Dancing with the Stars Austin presented by Lexus of Austin features Austin notables paired with professional dancers for ballroom dance performances and a unique evening of entertainment. The 2012 event will be a night of fun as a new group of community members compete in a dance-off for the coveted mirror ball trophy and raise money for the abused children of Austin. Each year, the success of this event has allowed the Center to provide more services to kids, teens and their families including pet therapy, an interactive ropes course and psychiatric services.

2nd Place - Carol Adams, President of Animal Trustees of Austin
3rd Place - Clayton Aynesworth, Founder of Alternative Healing of Austin

Thank you to everyone that attended! It was a spectacular night.

The 2012 winner of Dancing with the Stars Austin is Andra Liemandt. Congratulations to Andra and her professional partner, Gary McIntyre! Their phenomenal performance, entitled Gaga, The Concert impressed the entire audience. Andra showed off her athletic ability with a stunning number of impressive flips and twists.

Carol Adams was our first runner up! She and her professional partner, Matt Stewart performed one of the fastest routines of the night with expert precision. Last, but certainly not least, was our second runner up, Clayton Aynesworth. Clayton and his professional partner, Taletha Jouzdani, certainly gave the audience disco fever. However, it was Clayton's solo portion of the routine that had everyone in awe.

We would like to thank all of this year's performers. Their dedication was evident onstage last night and the performances were truly magnificent!
